KILN - WASTE HEAT RECOVERY PLANT
This project involved the installation of a 30tph waste heat boiler, 8MW steam T/G set, electrostatic precipitator and associated equipment. Oracle was retained as designers and project engineers for the main installation contractor.
The scope included the complete system design based on mass and energy balances at numerous operating conditions, process flow diagrams, equipment specification and detail drawings for pressure piping and heat exchangers, design detail of the high voltage electrical interconnection and protection system and design and configuration of the control system.
This plant is configured for local start up and shut down and for remote operation and was commissioned under Oracle's supervision during the 2nd quarter 1997.
For a period of two years after commissioning Oracle provided the client with on going technical support and operational advice.
